I moved recently and got married while in my IVA, now on my review forms the IP wants to know what my wife earns, I had read here that my wife's salary would not be included in my IVA,I now have step children as well which dramatically affect my outgoings

They are (hopefully) only interested in the likely share she will make to household expenses. If she earns twice as much as you they will assume she pays 2 thirds of the expenses, thereby freeing up some of your disposable income to pay into the IVA.

Without details they will assume a 50 / 50 split.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

It is precisely because your outgoings will be different that your IP needs to know your wifes earnings.

If it is cheaper for you to live as your share of the bills has gone down due to having more money in the pot, so to speak, then it is right and proper that your payment reflects that, however, by the same token, if your outgoings have increased then it is likely that you will need a reduction in your contributions.

Hope that helps.

Regards.
