Has anyone managed to get a mortgage after their iva was completed. I completed mine in aug 2012. My name is not on the insolvency register. Im in the process of cleaning my credit file. Iva just left to come of my equifax credit report (call credit and experian no longer shows iva) and one defaulted account which as been settled left to come off. Once removed I will be looking for a mortgage and I'm already in contact with ryan from this forum.

As anyone used ryan sucessfully. What minimum % deposit did you need and what mortgage rate did you get.

as always look forward to any replys

Hi Phil -- several posters have had mortgages placed with Ryan's help. Hopefully they will come along and give you better answers.

Ryan has helped us achieve our goal ... Everyone is different and the circumstances for each mortgage application will be different.
We had a large deposit so only eeded a 50% mortgage and we decided to do it over 18 years not 25 so our monthly payments are different and higher to those over a 25 yr term.

I know Ryan has successfully achieved mortgages for 20+ forum members over the last two years and I thoroughly recommend gim.

It would be nice to have deposit amounts and interest rates from some of the 20. Just so people can see what the reality is.

My circumstances are very different to most and me posting my details would not give an average person applying for a mortgage any indication. I know Ryan doesn't like to give this kind of detail as it may lead to false hope ...very much like an IVA application .. Every case is unique with its own set of circumstances and therefore not comparable.
