Hi there just a quick question, I am in an iva but my hubby isn't. I have recieved a ppi offer on a loan which my hubby paid towards is he entitled to his share of the payment? I have no problem whatsoever in paying whats mine into the IVA however it seems harsh on him.

Many thanks for your time.

If the loan is joint, i.e in both names, he is entitled to hang on to his half. If the loan is in your name, it all goes to the IVA.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Is this a joint loan Liz, or one just in your name where your husband helped to meet the loan repayments? If the latter, I am afraid that he will not be entitled to any of the reclaim, on the same basis that he would not have been covered had there been a need to lodge a claim at any time.
