.WE have made our last payment in oct 2012 then we were told by dfd that it would be sorted in 6 months...we have now just got off the phone to them and now we are looking at another 3 months..so now its been 18 months to complete...we have now been in this for about 7 years, surely this is not right and dare I say against the contract we signed by law..thanks, -

Hi Pixie, the proposal ( contract) you signed will, most likely, have provision for the time to be extended. As long as DFD have adhered to these then they can extend.

If they have contravened such clauses then you can complain, first to DFD formally, then, failing any resolution, to their regulators.
