Does anyone else have the same issues as me with credit files?? Why do the same creditors show different information on eah of the main credit files? It's so frustrating!!! I have one creditor who had my default date as a date before it actually was [:)]on one site, the correct date on another & a date WAY over on the 3rd! How on earth can that be possible?? I have 1 creditor who has my account as settled, no default date on one, the correct default date on another & the account still active on the 3rd! Clearing these files is getting to be more stressful than the IVA itself [xx(] How can they all be so different? Surely it's not rocket science to get them all to read the same!
You wouldn't have thought it was rocket science but I do admit cleaning them up is a pain that I wasn't looking forward to but luckily happened smoothly in the end.
The other thing I'm warned of now though is to keep looking as things can sometimes reappear! Great!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
It baffles me as to why there are three main CRA's in the UK and even more so how any company is allowed to sell our most private and sensitive details to all and sundry ( which is, in effect, what they do).
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I am having a problem with getting barclays taking me off the credit file they settled my account 2 years after the iva started it means I can't come off until 24/11/15 I have faxed them my cc but still nothing I made a complaint still waiting to hear back.
Last payment made August 2012 Certificate of Completion recieved 15th of Novenber 2013.
There should be one government based department that deals with this not 3 independent companies that can do what they like. It's disgusting that you have to fight to get these things sorted after 5/6 years of financial struggle.
