Hi I was in a Iva then I managed to pay a full and final payment to my creditors . But now one of my creditors have sold my debt to another company and have sent me a letter for the outstanding balance .can they make me pay it thanks Steve

Hi Steve. As long as the loan was included in your IVA the new creditor ( the buyer of the loan) is also bound by the terms of the IVA and cannot claim any repayment.

The chances are that they have bought your debt as part of a job lot and don't even realise it was covered by an IVA.
