Half way through my IVA when a £11000 legal bill hits the mailbox from 2010 over car accident
Their solicitors are going to enforce judgement against me next week
The only asset is my jointly owned and mortgaged house house with equity over £30000
Can they force me to sell even though I am in IVA?

You need to inform your IP to see if this debt is captured by the IVA. Any contingent liabilities should have been listed in the proposal and any small debts omitted by error are also included. If you informed your IP at time that there was this case against you it will likely be listed in the proposal and you are protected. If the IP did not know and it was not listed there is a danger that the IVA could fail.

Does your car insurance not cover the legal bill?
