Can anyone tell me if credit checks are carried out to obtain a corporate credit card ?

Not that I am aware of and numerous posters have received them despite being in IVAs. Ultimately it is your employer who is liable for the debt on the card so the bank will be more concerned about your employer's financial health than yours!

Hi

As Michael states your employer will be responsible for the debt, not you, however they may credit check for identity purposes

I have to say that I think that this is possible these days, and you ought to perhaps discuss this with your employer in advance - to avoid any embarrassment.
