Hi

My mum and dad wish to settle our iva. We have 32 payments of £158 = £5056 left to pay and no equity in house. They have offered £4700 to finish iva. Do you think this would be an acceptable offer.

Thanks

Sounds good to me -- the creditors will be getting the money early ... bird in the hand being worth two in the bush, and all that.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Good luck with your offer.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Make sure the offer reduces with each extra payment you make as some firms can be slow in proposing variations.
