Help...agreed payments were stopped 18 months ago due to a circumstance change.. GT suggested a variation meeting to close Iva.(with funds already paid to date!. It took them ages to set this up.. After 10 months and only small payments made they finally held a meeting last nov.. Their proposals where rejected.. We had to ask what happens next and we were told that we would have to begin full payments again( we originally just wanted them reduced) but there would be no arrears owing. No communication from them since until I phoned them yesterday.. I'm very upset and stressed by their lack of communication so yesterday I'd had enough..I have reinstated the full original agreed payment and was told that I had 15 months arrears to pay. (After being told there would be none!) because the variation failed! I am sick of being given conflicting information from them. So after being backed into a corner into a 72 month Iva originally. I have now had to extend it to cover the arrears all due to their incompetence.. They suggested an f&f but where am I supposed to get the money from.. Annoyed.. Angry and no where to turn..don't know what to do next!!😔

You could petition for bankruptcy so perhaps speak to your local CAB about this option. GT would have to terminate the arrangement as the variation has been rejected.
