I have received my certificate of completion. HSBC have advised that they will only amend my credit record to show partially paid. I thought on entering an IVA it was a full and final amount voted and agreed by creditors. Surely the debt should show as satisfied.

Hi Sue and congratulations. I makes little difference what they state on the account --- your credit record is useless while any trace of the IVA remains in any case.

The important thing is that the defaults are dated correctly, so that they drop off after the 6th anniversary --- once gone, it is of little matter what they once said.

My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
