Hi

I am aware there are other threads dealing with the same issue but I don't wish to gate crash them so have started a new one.

I made my last payment to DFD 12 months ago and E in F have been dealing with the PPI side of things about 2 years now. I have 100% complied with making payments on time, returning paperwork, changes to T&C's etc, you know the drill!

The date set for the variation meeting was adjourned and reset for June 6th. A few days after this I emailed DFD for the outcome. No reply. I then spent 4hrs in a queue on the phone and eventually got to speak with someone who told me everything had gone well and I should have my CC in 6 to 8 weeks time. 9 weeks and another 3hrs phone queueing later I speak to someone at DFD who tells me that the "completions tracker" is corrupted and they will have to check progress with the completions team. After 20 mins on hold I am told that the completions team are dealing with my case and my CC should be with me within 2 weeks.

1 week to go,can't wait........[:D]

Like I said, I have complied with everything DFD have asked for in a timely manner. DFD are a large company that charge a large premium for doing very little. Promises are constantly broken and communication is poor/non existent (unless asking for more money), if I had treated the IVA process with the same level of incompetence, I would probably be bankrupt by now.

Such a shame to see more negative feedback about this firm - there seems to be a spate of this lately on the forum. They do have representatives who occasionally post on the forum, so hopefully one of them will be able to reassure you that the end is now definitely in sight.
