Hi I've been fortunate enough to have completed my iva a few years ago now and am in possession of my completion certificate. I've been a member of experian ever since to make sure my credit rating was correct and have worked really hard to get my rating from poor to good. This morning in the post I've received a letter from Hillside messengers asking me to contact them no details just a reference number and phone number. I've checked a few forums and it says they are a debt collection agency I'm now really concerned that I have debt somewhere that I wasn't aware of. Does anyone have any experience of this company? Sorry just panicking as we're trying to get a mortgage at the moment.

Ring this company and advise them of the IVA and provide details of the IP. It is possible they bought a parcel of debts and are not aware of the IVA so this should be easily resolved.

I have just googled them and they appear to be a dodgy tracing company --- the general concensus seems to be to ignore them and do not make contact --- they are fishing for details.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
