Hi Guy's

I'm in an iva and at the start i told them that i don’t want my wife’s details involved but they said to me it’s an individual agreement, right so i gave my wife’s details and they told she would not be effected, my wife told me a millions times she does not want to do this and i told her it's okay they told me it's an individual agreement. The i stands for individual that what they told me. Now they are saying she is involved and I’ve had arguments with them because you told me she not involved and now she is? Any help on this? Please.
Also if the iva fails can they force you into bankruptcy and how would you pay for this? no one would lend you money if you went bankrupt because you would not be able to pay them back.
thank you

Hi. How are they trying to involve her ? Are you with Payplan ?
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

They cannot force your wife into an IVA so you should consider cancelling and going elsewhere. You are the client and it is your proposal so if the IP will not listen to you now what hope have you of being treated properly for the next five years!
