Just wondered if anyone had received any of the statutory interest that people signed for with grant thornton a couple of years ago for PPI. I completed a full and final settlement over a year ago and certificate came last July. Still heard nothing from EIC to say the interest from all my PPI claims is on its way. We did sign the papers though!!

Same here.

We have had the odd letter from EIC asking if we have any further information that can help them with certain possible claims, and unless they hear from us they will close them.

The last one was from GT themselves stating pretty much the same.

EIC did find one PPI amount and another where the exact amount wasn't stated but both payments of course went straight to them.

Other than that, no, we have not received any interest. This has been going on for nearly 2 years now and to be honest I really would be very surprised to get anything.

I have heard of no-one getting interest so far. Doesn't apply to me as I didn't sign yon spotty letter.

Hi Radish. This was the carrot when GT took over many cases and needed new Ts&Cs signed and is peculiar to them.

2 years and nothing for us either. Not how it was portrayed by GT, and has left us feeling ripped off!
