Hi

After almost 6 1/2 years and almost £80,000 in debt we make our final payment at the end of the month. I wanted to post this for anyone who is considering a dmp that we are living proof that even with a large amount of debt they can work. It has been a long struggle and we have learn't alot throughout our journey and will never fall into this trap again. We are very proud of what we have achieved it may seem never ending but time goes quick and you soon start seeing the end. Many thanks to the people on here who have given advice it goes along way and all the best to everyone in their debt free journey.

Many thanks

Well done for completing what can at times feel like an endless uphill battle!! Did creditors freeze interest throughout and who did you arrange your dmp though? (This info may be helpful to others in deciding what help to reach out for).

Paul
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.

Hi

All creditors apart from barclaycard did however they did reduce the rate. I can honestly say I had no hassle from any creditors which made it much easier. My dmp was with cccs and they were great never judging.
