Hi, I need to set up a business bank account and would welcome any advice. Would it be worth approaching high street providers or should I go straight for the no credit checks accounts with fees?
Many thanks.

Yorkshire bank might be an option but to be honest depending on what you need mycashplus is improving all the time.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

Some have had success with Barclays ( surprisingly) but due to the intervention of Managers and Underwriters. More often than not "computer says no" is as far as they get.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Business bank accounts appear to have toughened up ... we have just sorted one out 5 years after our IVA finished and had to jump through hurdles to get it. Lloyds have been good with us.
