my 6 year anniversary date was end of May. Natwest had the correct default date of May 2009 but I've just looked at my report and they've changed the date to September 2009!

what are the b*stards playing at? I've done my time lol. Already raised a dispute with the credit agency. feeling rather peed off to be honest!

No default should be after the start date of your IVA. Natwest amended ours too but when we asked them to amend it they did it straight away.

Thanks luluj. It's just annoying cos I wrote to them a few years back and they changed it to the correct date, so I can't understand why they've changed it to the incorrect date again. It just feels like theyve done it on purpose as it was literally just going to fall off my report and hey presto they move the date so it stays on my file.

My worry is they'll keep changing it so it'll never come off! I know they legally can't do this but its all extra hassle that could be done without. Oh well.

This, I am afraid, is why it's not good to get the dates straightened out too early -- it is not an uncommon thing for the dates to be changed back before the end. I don't think it's deliberate on their part, just bad data when they do their update runs (or someone has spilt their coffee on the keyboard!).
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I still have barclays showing 2 years and 3 months showing after my iva start date incorrectly dated they are refusing to budge I have stayed on there well over the 6 years barclays should have come off august 2013 according to barclays I won't be coming off until November 2015 I may have to get a solicitor involved it's got to the stage where it's nearly too late for me. I hope you get yours sorted out soon.
