Well i have finally received my CC seven months after making my final payment, its only a piece of A4 paper stating that all obligations have been met etc but still well worth framing [:D].

What a great feeling, at last we can move on now and look forward to a debt free future, its been a long road but for anyone just starting out or already in an iva just stick at it, some months are easier than others but its surprising how fast it goes by (although it does,nt always feel like it).

I now need to inform the credit reference agencies to start getting my file cleared up and i will drop off the insolvency register next January.

I think i might have 1/2 a shandy tonight [:D]

Congratulations:)
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

Well done, Ontheroad. Enjoy the well deserved "shandy" ----- push the boat out and make it a pint :-)

well done man. I cannot wait for this. Taking each day as it comes. The threat of unemployment looming over my head for 3-4 more years is the worst part. But look , you guys are making it out the over end and its very encouraging.

Congratulations.
Completed via Early exit loan on year 4
