I would also emphasise that this is not a business venture but the house is occupied by family who are merely covering the costs.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Hi - I suggest you sit down with an IP and discuss your affairs fully so they can recommend the best option for you. You clearly have a lot of questions that need answers and a forum may not help in the first instance - for example all of your debts need to be included in an IVA - you cannot exclude your credit cards. You will also have issues with cred post an IVA, if you haven't already. Not to add to your worries but are you declaring the rental income to HM Revenue & Customs and submitting a tax return as a landlord each year?
