AT LAST!!! After emailing several times and phoning last Friday - I have finally received my completion certificate today (year and half after paying my last payment).

I think it is my certificate anyway .... I have a letter staying my IVa has now concluded and a copy of Supervisors Final Report. Within all the paperwork is a sheet with my details and text that says Certificate of Completion pursuant to part VIII of the insolvency act 1986 and part V of the insolvency rules 1986.

The length of time I have had to wait I was expecting a gold embossed certificate!!!!

A lovely feeling though. Good luck to all those starting on their IVA journey - it was the best thing I ever did and thank you for the support from this forum

Onwards and upwards

Janjan

Brilliant news!! Congratulations but unfortunately it is just a letter!

Oh no there I was thinking it was all over. Does the certificate get sent separately then?

Once you have the letter then that is it - there is no certificate as such.

Thanks kallis3 - for a moment there I thought you meant it wasn't the completion and I had to wait for something else. Just have to wait now until I am off the Insolvency Register - but at least I have proof now that I have completed my IVA.

thanks

It can take up to three months for it to come off the Register.

Even though it is not an official certificate you can still frame the letter! Well done.
