Hi I have recently been promoted at work and now have to get a corporate credit card. I work for barclays and it's a barclays corp card. There is no mention of a credit check just mentions an identity check. However it doesn't state there is no credit check either! I did a f&f just over a year ago and got my completion certificate a few months later. My 6 years after the start date isn't up until April 2017. I just wondered if anyone else has had to apply for a corp card and if they credit checked them?
I believe there was another post on this yesterday and because it is a company card and they are responsible you should be ok.

It may depend on how it is repaid - if your employer directly repays it then unlikely you may be credit checked.
If you pay it and then claim the money back you may be credit checked.
American Express will probably credit check irrespective.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
I wasn't credit checked at my previous employer. I thought that anyone performing a credit reference check on you had to tell you that they were going to do one.
Depends on what your terms and conditions of employment are.

I applied for a corporate Amex while still in my IVA. They did a search and it did show on my Experia credit report, but I was still approved and issued with my Amex card.
Last Payment made 04/12/14. Completion Certificate 25/7/15. IVA company GT. No Issues
