I have found out that my previous family home was repossessed 4 years ago

I have found out today that my previous family home was repossessed 4 years ago,the mortgagae company want to add this to my completed IVA and extend the terms is this possible?
I completede my last payment on the IVA in July 2015
I paid an additional 12 months payments as compensation towards being named on a joint mortgage is it possible for them to do this ?

I would have thought that the shortfall was captured by the terms of the IVA as they were aware of it and had ample time to claim. I think they are trying it on and your IP should tell them that.

I agree with Michael - this sounds a bit odd. Usually the mortgage company are sent notice of the IVA and given the opportunity to claim. Given that the debt was known before your IVA closed they would have had chance to put their claim in. It's not up to the mortgage company to vary your proposal. Speak to your IP and hopefully they will liaise with the mortgage company accordingly - I don't see how this should affect the closure of your IVA.
