Hello. I completed my iva in aug 2014 following a full and final settlement and received my cc at the end of aug 2014. My 6!years post iva will be 31 march 2016. I now have no debt and quite a good salary. I have a vanquis credit card which I pay off every month. What are the chances of getting car finance fir a lease car. I wouldn't be looking at anything too expensive. Maybe a monthly payment of £80-90 a month. Any shares experience would be helpful. Thank you xx

Hi,

Just make sure that the IVA and any defaults are not showing on your record and I think you may well be ok to get a car.

It sounds fine to me too. It might be worth trying a bank for an unsecured loan to buy the vehicle or any dealer should be able to help. Make sure and get an up to date copy of your credit file first to make sure everything adverse has gone.
