I have an odd search on my credit file, by the Bank of America (Sr) for an "administrative review" --- never had any dealings with them and have asked Noddle for clarification.

They also searched on my old address -- not the one I have been at for 4 years !

Has anyone her had any dealings with them ?

Aaaah .. scratch that -- just discovered BoA own MBNA -- at least until a few days ago when they decided to sell to Lloyds --- that search would have been related to my double default issue on an MBNA loan sold to Max Recovery -- so all good :-)

I have loads of insurance company searches that I have never asked for but, as I presume they are soft searches, I'm not really bothered.

Hiya Foggy,

I have an `administrative review search` from Hitachi Finance a few months ago, never dealt with them. They seem to appear if you use a comparison site for insurance quotes, etc... and looking up these `searches` on the net, it appears they are soft searches.
