Hi everyone
My last payment to my IVA is the end of March I am paying the 6th year in lieu of equity
Can I make an advance payment to clear the last three payments or would I be expected to pay more on top?
i want to get my house sold so the quicker I can get the completion certificate the better
I have a disabled child and our house just isn't suitable anymore ( it hasn't been suitable for years) but we have stuck with it
I don't want to sell the house until I hVe the certificate so I know they won't want to take anymore money
Sorry this is so bitty hope you can help
Thanks

You can speak to the company and see if they will agree to you paying the rest upfront.

If they allow you to pay it off early, your finish date may still be the time your last payment is due. I don't think paying it off three months early will get your certificate any quicker - sadly. I tried something similar to this myself.

Agree with Radish. At this late stage the payments would only be payments in advance, not a F&F, and the end date would stay the same.

You will have to make sure the restriction has been lifted before you sell.

Wait for the certificate and check that the restriction has been lifted.
