Good Morning
A year after looking into it I have final started the ball rolling on arranging a F&F offer. I received a reply from my IP saying I would probably need to offer £2400 which I am happy with. I currently have 7+12 payments left to make at £130 p/m. The funds will be coming from my parents. I am to arrange a copy of statement showing available money, a copy of identification and an email stating there willingness to pay ( I will of course make sure they state they will only pay if it means the iva is completed )
My Questions are,

1- Are there any obvious conditions I should put into my official F&F offer email?
2- I am hoping this isn't bad timing however, I have just in the past 2 weeks started a new job which may see me earning more money. Will I be expected to do another income and expenditure form as part of a F&F? if so would I be right to assume this could effect how much I would be expected to offer?

Regards

If you are with Payplan then tell them not to put the bankruptcy clause into the offer as they always do and and they will remove it but other than that just give them the information they want.

Not sure about a new I&E though.

Also mention that payments made in the interim will be deducted from the lump sum --- your IP has already suggested a rather generous amount, you don't want to supplement this by adding interim payments to it as well.

You may need a new I&E but hopefully not. Payrises are usually dealt with at the annual review so provided your IP uses the I&E from the last annual report you should be fine.

Thank you for your replies, yes I will put in the condition about reducing the payment. My last I&E was just over 5 months ago so fingers crossed.

Hi guys

My parents are about to email a copy of their statement to prove they have the funds available to offer F&F. They are asking if they should obscure the account details i.e account and sort code? I can understand their concern but not sure if it would be acceptable.

Hi Mark. If t'were me ... yes, I would obscure the details. If nothing else, email isn't always as secure as we would like it to be and the less times our personal details are launched into the atmosphere the better !
