I paid off my IVA early, 4 years ago, but it stays on my credit file till this April (6years from starting it). Does it come off automatically or do I have to contact Experian etc to get it removed?

Hi,

It should come off automatically after the six years but just keep an eye on things and make sure it does.

Noddle and Clearscore are also free credit agencies to consider using:

Usually the IP cannot help as they will already have sent a copy of the CC to creditors so you have to get in touch with creditors direct to get any erroneous defaults backdated and removed.
