How long does it take for a variation meeting ?

How long does it take for a variation meeting?and can you complain because of time scale?I had a brain hemorrage end oct and been suffering with depression,I have asked Payplan to accept payments to date.I am in year 6.

They are supposed to respond to a request within 21 or 28 days and they have to give 28 days notice to the creditors. Payplan, however, seem to work to their own, painfully slow, timescale. Unfortunately you will need their support for the offer so cannot antagonise them . Maybe lodge a complaint after it has all been settled.

I would send a polite chaser letter in writing via recorded delivery reminding them of your health issues and asking when it will be resolved.

Perhaps say you understand the meeting would be called within 28 days and ask them if this has now been done and what the date of the meeting will be.

That's a fair enough question and shouldn't antagonise them but might give them enough of a prod to get a move on.
