Hi all. Last payment made in March completion certificate arrived start of may. (Apeture)
Defaults disappeared from noddle before IVA finished, IVA still showing as active. Which I have contacted noddle with a copy of completion certificate. So waiting to hear back which they said could be up to 2 weeks. I'm still on insolvency register so sent them a copy of completion certificate, to which they replied need more information. They want a copy of what and who was paid through IVA?? Which I don't have as shredded all paperwork... if I do nothing will I automatically get removed from the register???

Thanks in advance

It can take up to 3 months to come off and Aperture will have sent a copy to the register. You should not need to tell them all of the ins and outs as your completion letter should be enough. Speak to Aperture tomorrow.

It should remove itself within three months - you could always contact them with a copy of the completion certificate so they remove it for you.

Unfortunately it seems to depend very much on who you actually speak to there as to how long it takes to drop off. They can do it straight away for you if you manage to speak to someone helpful. Best of luck.

You should come off the insolvency register within 3 months.

Your IP deals with this by sending them your CC. Only after this date, if nothing happens, should you need to send them the CC. I don't see why they are asking for extra detail - this is very strange - are you sure its the insolvency register you are talking to?

The Insolvency Service should only need sight of the completion certificate -- however, I would contact Aperture and ask that they send further copies ( including to you, along with the final report, to keep --as you have discovered it is not a good idea to shred these documents).
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

They do ask for more info, took me weeks to get them to accept my completion certificate. It was all a waste of time anyway because they said it will be on there 3 months from when they are notified. So for me it will have been on the register for nearly 7 years :-(
