I would think that, if you were to receive the house then some, or all of any equity would be paid across to your IVA but I'm not 100% sure so hopefully one of the experts will be along tomorrow.

At the end of the day it would depend upon the validity of the trust deed with regard to ownership and your IVA and how carefully it was drafted. It would also depend upon how juicy the equity would appear to your IP / creditors as to whether it was worth challenging the terms of the deed in court.
Why is this person going for a trust deed rather than leaving you the house in a will in the fullness of time ?
