Hi my iva has just been accepted first payment in 4 days. Obviously all my creditors will be defaulting Me but should the date of the default be the acceptance date of the iva and if they are not is it worth me getting these corrected ?:

It should be on, around, or before the date the IVA starts. They will drop off on their 6th anniversary, so you do want the dates to be correct ( or as near as). I woud sign up to Noddle and keep an eye on things -- it will take a while for defaults to be recorded and for them to show up.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Don't worry - just concentrate on getting to the end for now.

You only need to worry about this in 6 years time...!

Not really an issue for you now, they generally are registered on the start date (or very near) and will automatically drop off after six years. Just sign up to Noddle or clearscore if you want to check but to be honest i would just focus on getting through your IVA and worry about all these bits and pieces of admin at the end.

I agree. Your credit file will be poor for the foreseeable future - one to address closer to the end of your IVA when any incorrectly recorded defaults can be dealt with once they have all surfaced.
