If I wanted to apply for a new form of credit from a creditor I previously had in my IVA (completed in 2015 and removed from file in 2016), will they still have this record in their system?

Hi,

Different creditors have different criteria for the length of time they keep records for. Perhaps worth trying a different creditor?

It is likely that a record this recent will still be on their system. Whether they routinely access old records or link them to new applications will depend upon their own internal policies. There is also some speculation as to the existence of archival records --- how do PPI claims companies go back the decades they claim to be able to do ??
