In April next year 6 years will have passed since our IVA started and despite early F&F nearly 3 years ago we have been stuck waiting to move and get a mortgage with this on our credit report. Any idea once the 6 year date has passed how long it will be before we can start applying for a mortgage?! How quickly will our credit score improve? We have already done all we can to improve it, the only negative holding it back are the defaults and the IVA put in at the beginning of the IVA!!

Credit score will improve as soon as the IVA and defaults drop off --- and will continue to improve as you get yourself some positive history.

Have a look here re mortgages: viewtopic.php?f=145&t=83544

Have a word with Ryan a mortgage - he has a lender on board who is very helpful.
