So as you know my iva got apporoved on 20th december. I am receiving letters from my creditors saying that if i dont make the payment they want they will close my account and demand full payment of the whole account with a date given and if i do not pay then further action may be taken.

Do i just ignore these they are quite intimidating

Thanks

If they are in the IVA they are blowing smoke ! The accounts will be closed anyway --- the message has just not filtered down to the collection agencies ( who are often third party agents on commission ).

You can either ignore or pass them on to your IP.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Agree with Foggy. Not been passed down the line yet and your accounts will be closed anyway!

I agree with the good advice already given.

My personal experience after having my IVA accepted was receiving letters for a few months after from one creditor. All I was advised to do was send them into my IP and then they eventually ceased so don’t worry about these. Its just waiting for the various computer systems to catch up. Usually these letters are automatically sent out when going into arrears and not actually overseen by a person to make the link just yet!

I would just send the letters onto your IP and let them deal with it for you - you are fully protected now in your IVA
