Hello everyone.. although I don’t post much I visit the forum nearly everyday and read most of the posts.
When I received the email from stepchange for annual review I couldn’t believe it’s already been 1 year.. I remember like yesterday when I was sick of worries whether my Iva accepted, whoise gonna vote yes , would I be alright without credit card, how am I supposed to entertain my daughter with no credit to relay on.. how wrong I was..
Life is much more easier without a credit card. I managed to learn budget my weekly shopping by meal planning for the week. I explained my daughter the new situation and she was very mature about it she is only 12, and limited our going outs, stop eating out, and still enjoyed ourself by walking the down, visit the riverside and so on..
I cleared my head, reversed my diabetic type 2, lost over 15 kg, even me and my daughter managed to save £250 for a new iPad Pro (still saving £5 per week)..
I made minor changes on my i&e form. Like my food expenses was £308 I asked for £315, new rate for my internet, water and electricity bills. The documents asked was very simple to put together, stress free progress which I am very happy for.
So I emailed everything my IP needed hopefully she will get back to me within 7 days with the figure and again hopefully the adjustments I asked for will be excepted.
I just wanted to share with you.. 1 down 4 and half years left to go..
I am stronger, lighter, healthier and stress free and full of hope for the future.. I would like to thank once again to everyone whose been there for me, answer all my questions, comfort me when I was worried, and pray with me before the decision.. thank you all.. we made it together..
have a great weekend everyone :D

Hi,

We found Stepchange to be great throughout and very quick to issue a CC. They didn't bother us with PPI at all so we're looking forward to seeing what happens when we get round to claiming it. Regarding the reviews as I remember it was P60, 3 months payslips and bank statements , then at equity release time they accepted just a couple of online refusals and at closure just P60's.

Lastly the more you can earn after set-up the better with the 10/50/50

Good luck they are really efficient and I've never seen an issue with their IVA dept on here in 8 yrs.
IVA completed with StepChange.
Last payment Sept 2016 CC Oct 2016

They didn’t even ask any single bank statement. Only if any receipt in benefits latest bank statement they asked for. Only been with them for a year but I found them very good from the day one I rang for an advice.
