Iva taken out 2009, paid the 6 years as asked, via lump sum at the end, they have gained also £4000 ppi towards it.
Account completely paid off in Oct 2015, 6 months later I found out by accident after phoning them to chase the CC that they had put me in arrears as they had added the 12 month equity clause. My house at that time had less than £5000 equity in it. They had all the paperwork even though they denied this. I have had an account now for several years who has been chasing them..aperture have ignored every email and letter sent to them by him and I am not at the end of my tether with them. This October they have had my final payment 3 years ago. They believe I owe the equity so are ignoring every communication we have with them. This is now verging on the ridiculous which is why we enlisted professional help.
We cannot move on until this is finished. They have had over and above what they where owed, time for a formal complaint to their regulatory body. I am disgusted that a regulated professional company are getting away with this. I have had no communication from them at all, I wasn’t even told they had added the equity until I rang to query something else. How can I have arrears on something I didn’t know I existed. I checked and double checked before the final payment was made that there was no outstanding payments to be told that was the total amount to be paid! So the whole balance was paid off now they have found the equity clause!! Hitting a brick wall with them!
You do need to make a complaint - email them and say you are going to escalate it. Usually works!

Really concerned only just found out debt free direct were no more and that Aperture had taken over - have had no communication what so ever !! My 4th annual review has passed ! Should I be contacting them? From what I have read so far about Aperture they defo don't have a good reputation - Can I stop my IVA and transfer to another IVA provider keeping the same term? Or am I stuck with them?

I am afraid that you are stuck with them .... you should get in touch (which might prove frustrating!) to make sure they are dealing with your case.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
Keep pestering them and make a complaint if necessary via the link Lisa provided.
