Hi Rajesh,

The Creditor should issue a default against the account with the IVA start date as the date of the default. Speak to the Data Controller at the Company the account was with. If you can contact them on Social Media that is often the quickest way to get things resolved.

As Ryan says, it sounds as if this particular debt wasn't defaulted as it should have been -- there is a template in this article about clearing credit files: https://www.iva.co.uk/what-does-an-iva- ... dit-record
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Hi Rajesh
The Default stays on your credit report for 6 years. So if your IVA was registered more recently than June 2012, then you have to wait a little longer.
