Hi

Firstly - I had my creditor meeting on 17th December all went through ok.

They sent me email with attachments to sign and standing order to set up. I asked how best to sign them and return as they weren’t the usual type to sign online and return so wanted to know if I needed to sign them and post or sign and screen shot would be ok. Along with a few other questions in regards to the payment and they haven’t got back to me. I am with pay plan and before the meeting I was called or emailed back within a few hours on any questions I have it’s been weeks with multiple emails and messages left and no one has got back to me. I’ve since made the payment for mine and my boyfriends Iva in one payment and don’t know if they have had it.

I got xmas bonus sent them my pay slip and asked how much I need to pay extra and they haven’t replied as well so I have that waiting to pay them as don’t want to send too much or too little or send it if they don’t want it.

I also got told not to Pay the council tax as they where putting that in the Iva, they have since sent me a letter of enforcement and when I’ve called them they said they need a certificate to say am in Iva ? I haven’t heard of this tried to explain they need to contact my ip and they have said I do. ( is there a certificate am meant to get?)

I have emailed this letter to my ip and called and left message about it as it runs out today so am scared they will add more charges or send baliffs round.

The signed documents I’ve signed and
screen shotted the signed section back to them but again not sure if they’ve seen it.

I’m scared they will cancel the Iva if they haven’t got these back yet or because I haven’t posted them signed copies

Really stressing out now and wondering if Payplan where the right choice for us

Any help
Or advice to ease my mind or other way of getting in touch with them would be helpful.
Sorry for the long post xx

Write direct to your IP by recorded delivery and complain about the abysmal lack of service. If nothing improves you can complain to their regulatory body here: https://www.gov.uk/complain-about-insol ... actitioner

There is no such certificate to "prove" that you are in an IVA --- they should contact your IP directly. Otherwise ( and check to make sure you are on there --- it took me 6 months to appear) they can check on the Insolvency Register here: https://www.insolvencydirect.bis.gov.uk/eiir/
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Your IP will write to you to confirm that the IVA has been put in place and will send you the Chairman's report confirming the same - this should be sufficient for the Council.

Also, it will be updated on the IVA register here so you can tell them to keep checking it:

https://www.insolvencydirect.bis.gov.uk/eiir/

As Foggy says make a written complaint to Payplan via registered post.

Keep all communication with them in writing and keep copies throughout the IVA.
