Hultonlady that’s awful about that letter. Being in debt isn’t a crime, trying to obtain money or goods by deception or threatening behaviour is! What the creditors do is nothing short of bullying or harassment in my eyes. No one ever intends to get in this situation. My main problem was with ‘interest free’ credit cards. I wasn’t aware the payments would double as soon as the interest went on. I really wish I had been better informed of this early on.
Foggy, your right. The most annoying thing about all this is that I have some equity in my house and two of my loans would have been paid in 2 years. Unfortunately, despite paying all my bills on time, and slightly over the minimum payment each month, (when overtime was around) my credit rating was so terrible, I couldn’t remortgage. I’ve learnt to become very distrustful of banks.

Thank you. I am so anxious I’ve not eaten for days! (Not complaining at that though!!) I went on to my PayPlan app earlier and the ‘payment’ bit is all lit up so I can make payments. I don’t know if this is a good sign or just one of those things. Phone call is due at 11. Thank you for your continued support x

Approved. No modifications. £351 a month. Gobsmacked. Over joyed. Can’t describe how happy I am at being insolvent. First payment made. No to adapt to life on a budget. Thank you all for listening to my woes.

Such a crazy feeling!! I feel like celebrating, but then remember I’m broke. A trip to the park and an ice cream when I pick my daughter up from school it will be!

Great news ! So pleased for you - I celebrated with some new knickers then felt guilty for getting them 🤦‍♀️ Going to start a budget planner so I know where I’m up to - and no more knickers !

Hahaha! Brilliant! Just knickers from Primarni in future for you!
I’m a way I’m looking forward to a ‘frugal life’. I want to see how far I can stretch my money and go on ‘freebie’ websites. Also now I don’t have to work excessive amounts of overtime, not that there is any available at the moment, I can finally start decluttering my house and learn to love it again. Perhaps finally learn to play the guitar which gathers dust in the front room, read some of the many books I have hoarded and start up some old/new hobbies. I may even start gardening

Sell your excess stuff on Ebay - will give you some extra spending money.
