If you have sent a first PPI reclaim complaint letter to the company,
but have not put the correct complain argument point in the letter which you know they will reject (due to not having all the paperwork from the past)
If you then realize another another point in your complain,
(due to getting some paperwork at a later state)
then can you send another second complain letter, with this new point.
but if this 2nd letter is sent After the deadline,
then does it could you have sent your complain 'within time' on the basis that you have sent your first one in time?
- as you have sent the First incorrect point letter within time limit (which was sent weeks ago) ?

As Kallis says -- make sure it goes before the deadline !
If you lodge a claim before the deadline, you can still add / change details on that claim after the deadline, as you are continuing a validly lodged claim. If they refuse the claim at any point that will be the end of the matter, I imagine, as a fresh claim would be required.
If they refuse a validly lodged claim, I am guessing, you would still then be able to refer that claim to the Ombudsman for adjudication, and, maybe, supply further details.
This is all guesswork being "made up as it goes along" ... speak to the Ombudsman -- but do not expect a speedy response.
We are not a PPI claimsline and cannot give you definitive replies or advice on PPI matters. Try asking on one of the general money advice forums. I am sure Martin Lewis and friends will have something to say on the matter.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
