HI, Basically this year I left my job to concentrate on self employment, it didnt work well and I had a mental breakdown, I told all this to payplan and they drew up a plan for me, I was rejected by other firms on the basis of my disability so I was happy payplan accepted to try so I signed, but when the paper copy came through I noticed the mistakes in dates, can this be amended by them, I phoned but they were closed. Im now worried a problem arises as they got dates wrong and Im not usually mentally well enough at the time to notice.
If it has been approved by creditors then doubtful it can change now.
What is wrong with the dates?
Does this have a material impact on the ultimate amount you owe to creditors or have any detrimental effect on your monthly agreed iva payment? Can you afford the payment?
If you can afford the payment and live with the allowances agreed then leave well alone and work with the iva in place would be my suggestion.

There is a solution for everyone .... Just need to stay positive !
This is difficult, because, if you fall back on the defence of, basically, mental capacity to nullify the errors to which you did, in essence, agree by signing the doors could be opened for the creditors to seek to nullify the whole arrangement for the same reasons.
As Luluj says, is it possible for you to hunker down and carry on with the new arrangement to get through it as it stands ?

Thanks for the replies, the payments I offered are fine, its the description of why I fell into financial difficulties thats wrong, the dates and theres vital information missing in the same section, for example I paid with my own money until I fell into financial difficulty, then used credit to pay credit, they only put the second part in as though I never paid my own money, for years I did until I hit hardship, then I put my own money in still but also did balance transfers, it hasnt been passed yet its due in a couple of weeks the meeting.

Until the meeting you are able to change things. However, the matters you describe are not deal breakers, nor are they really needing to be changed --- reasons for getting into problems are basically the same for all of us, however they are described and creditors are just looking to see if there were any extraordinary reasons which could prove a problem going forward.
Try, as hard as we all know this is, not to 'overthink'.

I might be being incorrect here but as far as me experience none of what you've said would make any difference.
when i entered my IVA i was never asked any questions about how i got in debt, when i got in debt or why,
I don't think the creditors would be voting yes and no based on this statement 'I paid with my own money until I fell into financial difficulty, then used credit to pay credit, they only put the second part in as though I never paid my own money, for years I did until I hit hardship'
This is just from my experience others may have had a different experience,
Best of luck

These days creditors also need to see whether any gambling was involved and how credit has been used in the run up to the IVA.
