You can go on MortgageSteve's website and get contact details if they're not in his profile. I visited the website yesterday. Not sure we're allowed to give out contact details but we do refer posters to the 'ask experts a question' link to the left and ask them to find the person they're wanting to contact. Sure Andy will sort this a little later.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hi

Just to confirm that experts can be contacted via their web link in their signature or details within their bio to be found on the meet the experts page

We do not give out any contact info for other forum members I'm afraid unless the person wanting the information contacts myself and the other party agrees to the contact

With regards to experts we have no limit to the amount on the forum although we have a process to go through before upgrading anyone to this status

Hope this helps

Regards
Andam Davies

Is that 6 years from when it began or 6 years after it has been completed and you have been discharged from the arrangement?

Also can you put things in your application to back it up for example that you have never missed a mortgage payment or a rent payment, even when you was unemployed and that you only had access to high cost payday loans which in turn meant you got further and further in to debt, until there was a point of no return and an IVA was the only option for you and you successfully completed the arrangement and that you feel that the lenders didn't do proper and full affordability checks prior to lending and allowed you to regularly roll over your loan or reapply as soon as you paid one off? Kind regards Chantal

It is better,Chantal, to get a broker who will approach the right lenders in the first place ... they will not want to get into 'whys and wherefors' and will apply their own company policy.

As I mentioned on your other question (And, for ease, I will copy and paste:

Many brokers simply do not understand IVAs or have any contacts with sympathetic lenders. There are many lenders out there: some will lend after 6 years from the start, some six years from the end, some don't actually worry about it and a few will never lend. The trick is approaching the right lender according to the individuals circumstances.

We have two whole of market brokers on the forum who, both, have great experience with adverse credit applications and have found many members mortgages at 'High Street' rates. Have a word with Ryan and / or Shaun. Their details can be gleaned fron their profile pages here:

Ryan: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=18488
Shaun: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=22837
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Hi Foggy. OK. That's great. Thanks. I'll contact Paul and Ryan then for a chat. I've been talking to loads of brokers that say they get mortgages for people with adverse credit current and past yet not one say they could help me. That's why I was loosing the will to live with it and getting to a point where I was gonna have to accept I screwed up and I am trapped.

It is possible, but depending upon a number of factors, as well as the co-owners own policies.

I would suggest a chat with Ryan and / or Shaun, who are both whole of market brokers with extensive experience in adverse credit applications.

Their details can be found under the "Ask a Question" tab ( top left) and then scrolling down to the Experts Details Section.
Ok. Thanks. I'll try and contact them both then for advice on the matter.
