What are my options I don't have £1845 sitting in my bank account to pay them in one lump sum and I really don't want this to drag on any further than it already has, thought I would ask on here first before trying to contact them on the phone because A. it can take ages to get through and B. after my last call I was raging with them and their couldn't care less attitude.

First you need to ascertain if you do owe this money. How has this come about ? Have you not declared any extra income or pay rise ? Get them to explain their figures.
If you do owe this amountthe options will depend on why .... if Aperture were at fault they should (should!) be more helpful .. maybe offer to extend the arrangement to cover the money by further monthly payments.

Totally agree with foggy ...ensure a written explanation of why it's due before you agree on paying it ...

If it is due then agree to pay it in chunks... yes your certificate will be delayed but in all honesty until its paid your stuck ....

There is a solution for everyone .... Just need to stay positive !

You recently posted regarding sa complaint with regards to closure times so my guess is they've looked at your wage slips etc and thought there's additional income?

I would ask for a breakdown of exactly where the additional funds due in have come from and try to understand, and if on reflection it doesn't look right then say so.

I would appeal to their better nature if you're unable to pay the full lot, especially if your IVA has been going on as long as you say it has. They might be able to apply supervisory discretion or be able to work out a way forward. Particularly if up until this point you've been compliant etc.

Don't get too frustrated, even though I know it's infuriating, and try to work with them, I know it probably feels like you're between a rock and a hard place but there's always a way, don't give up now.
Hi! I used to work for one of the UK's biggest Insolvency Practitioners - I don't work for an IP anymore but still have an extensive knowledge of the IVA industry. How can I help?

Can we have more information please.

what does this relate to - how has it come about - is this in relation to overtime and bonuses received since the last review?

It's due to overtime worked I would say in the last 12 months but they also asked for a payslip from August 2018 and a payslip from the end of July 19 even though my last scheduled payment was the 1st of July 19.
I haven't spoke to them yet as I'm trying to raise the funds because this has already gone on over 12 months longer than it should have due to Aperture's incompetence. I have worked overtime in the last 12 months but that is the nature of my job I'm expected to work it, in the past when I have phoned Clear Debt up I was told my payments are calculated based on my basic pay and any additional would be re calculated over the next 12 months so there was no need to inform them unless it was a large lump sum.
I will attempt to contact them once I have exhausted all possibilities of raising the cash it couldn't be at a worse time of the year and if they did there job when they were supposed to this would have been dealt with in the summer.

Aperture are Rubbish.

To be fair, Clear Debt have set you up for this one --- the standard terms state that extra income is to be dealt with as it arises ... which makes surprises like this fewer and of smaller consequence .... but, yes, Aperture should be capable of working at something like the pace of nearly every other insolvency firm in the industry !
