Hi all

I think there's someone from Freeman Jones on here but I can't for the life of me remember who it is.

I've contacted them as I should get the proceeds from my ex-wife buying me out of our house today. So far, no reply.

I've only got a few months left of my 5 years and I'm predicted to pay 100% including fees and stuff anyway.

I'm not going to chase this again - every single time I contact them I have to chase and chase. This is not just due to Covid, it's always been the same. I'm not going to waste MY time due to their incompetence. I spend half my life chasing people who can't do their job so the onus will have to be on them now as I feel I've made a reasonable effort to resolve this. I'd rather have the lump sum and pay back the balance monthly anyway. But if they want their money early and are reading this, get in touch.

Cheers
AJ

Hi AJ,

Happy to help. Drop me an email to ian.williams@financialwellnessgroup.co.uk (or my FreemanJones.com email address which still works) and I'll give this a chase for you.

Hi Ian

Thanks for coming back to me. Coincidentally, I had an email from someone called Yvonne this morning asking for an update on settling. I've replied asking for:
  • A settlement figure that assumes the August payment will go through as it's probably too late to cancel it
    How to pay
Like I say, I'm not going to keep chasing now. I've done my bit.

Cheers
AJ
