Hi, I'm in a iva and am due a refund for a flight which has been cancelled twice due to covid19. As the original credit card is closed as part of my iva, what happens to the refund.

Hello. The refund should still go to the credit card and they won't(or shouldn't) release the funds without your supervisor telling them where to send it.

You should ask your supervisor if you can keep the money, there's quite a bit of variation in how this is being treated at the moment.

Hi,

The refund, if less than £500, you can keep. I don't agree with this particular set of circumstances that you should, but those are the rules and you may as well use them to your advantage. If over £500 then it should go to the IVA (you may be allowed to keep the first £500 and only pay over the difference, check your proposal to be sure).

Kindest regards.
