Hello, I'm in the process of having my IVA drafted by mccambridge duffy. I am receiving PIP and ESA and granted I racked up the debts through my own doing. I've come to the conclusion that because my mental health and wellbeing ADHD/Asperger's relies on having access to a computer to stop me from falling into depression. if my computer was to break then I'm not allowed to purchase a new one is this true?
You would not be able to buy one on credit (no company would touch you) so, once your IVA is up and running and your computer packs up you could ask for a payment break to fund a new one.

I imagine that you would have to back this request up with medical opinion. You could, at this stage, discuss this with McCD to see what they could do for you should the worst happen.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
