I wonder if someone could help with my query please? If my partner were to be made redundant, and he had mortgage payment protection insurance to cover his monthly mortgage repayments whilst he is out of work, would my 'rental contribution' that i pay to him each month have to instead be paid as extra into the iva? Or, would i be able to use that money to put towards bills etc seeing as though there will only be one wage coming in until he finds another job? Thank you.

I think that you would need to carry on paying your contribution to your partner. What he does with his money is still his own business.
