[:D]

I cannot believe how quickly the first year of my iva has gone, it has made an amazing change to my life.

I will never forget the 5th November 2007 as it was lovely that night looking out the window to watch the fireworks and sleeping properly for the first time in months!!

I am having a rubbish time lately as been off for 3 weeks now with a broken coccyx and in pain all the time and then mum's handbag stolen today (posted on friends board) so she has been in a bit of a state, but having said all of that no money hassles which is great.

I first posted on the forum about 16 months ago and it has been a godsend to me and helped me through a lot as the forum is the only place I am able to discuss my iva as no one else knows as I don't want to worry family/friends.

Anybody who is at the beginning it is so worth it and I am so grateful for my iva and all Melanie & teams help[:)]

Although its 12 months today, this month I will make my 14th payment into my iva, so roll on 2012[:D]

Good luck to all x

debtmountain - sorry to hear your news, really hope you get some positive news very soon[:)]

Goodness me - how time flies! I must be a year older then, which is not a pleasant thought!!

I believe that the first year of an IVA is always the hardest, and that once you get throught the first round of birthdays, Xmas and the lack of holidays (or reduced budget ones) then you can probably shore up for the following five years. This time next year you will be well on the way to half way through.

See you in Walsall, and make sure that you bring some updated pictures of our favourite redhead!!
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner
