Mbna have sent me a leter saying an IVA is an excellent form of debt relief and said there an option of a Partial Settlement.

What % will that acept and is this better then what I would repare in an IVA

Hi
MBNA have a history of trying to broker a part payment when a debtor is looking at an IVA.Trouble is that you will still have your other creditors to deal with and if you do pay off MBNA you will be favouring one creditor over another.

MBNA have promised to change their sharp practices - when did you receive their letter? Can you send me a copy?
